When are you open?

Do I need a reservation for lunch?
Reservations are required to dine for lunch. If you don’t see any availability on your desired date, you can request a reservation via SevenRooms! When you add your name, you will receive an immediate notification when another guest cancels.

Can I reserve a table in the evening?
Walk-ins only for Locust at night! First come, first served. Come to the restaurant and add your name to our waitlist with our host. We’ll get you in as soon as we can.

What are you serving in the evening??

We're offering a much more casual service in the evenings – just dumplings and drinks on the menu! We'll occasionally offer a special when it feels right. Martinis are on the menu. Guinness on draft, always. The full Locust menu is available for lunch only. 

Why am I being charged $50 per person to make a reservation?
We require a $50.00 per person deposit at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This is applied as a credit on your check at the end of your visit.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can edit, reschedule, or cancel your reservation manually via Seven Rooms up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival time. Follow the link in your confirmation email to make these changes yourself, or reply to your confirmation email to request assistance from our team! Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled time or do not show up for your reservation. Please send us a message via SevenRooms if you need to cancel within the 24-hour window.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We are not able to cater to vegetarian or vegan diets. While we can accommodate most other dietary restrictions, we do not alter existing dishes to cater to restrictions. Please notify us of any allergies in your party ahead of your visit by noting them on your reservation or reaching out to our team at info@locustnashville.com.

How do I update my reservation to include dietary restrictions, reason for celebrating (anniversary, birthday, etc.), or leave a note for the locust team?
Your confirmation email from SevenRooms includes a link to ‘manage reservation’. This will take you to a questionnaire where you can easily update your reservation to include any information you want or need us to know. You can even upload a profile picture!


Can I see your menu?
Our menu changes frequently, often day-to-day! For this reason, we don’t post the menu online. If you have questions related to allergies or aversions, please email us at info@locustnashville.com . You can to see photos of what’s been on the menu lately!

How far in advance do reservations open?
We release reservations one month in advance at 10:00 AM (CST). For example, all reservations for the month of February are released on January 1st at 10:00 AM.

Do you accommodate large parties?
We only accept reservations for parties of up to 4 guests. Please note that we cannot combine separate reservations to create large parties, and we will not move tables in the dining room to seat parties together. We’ve only got so much space!

Do you accommodate infants and children?
Kids of all ages are welcome at Locust! We do not have booster seats or highchairs, but we can do our best to provide additional space to accommodate strollers or carriers. Please let us know ahead of time if you’ll be dining with children so we can better plan for these arrangements.

Do you have parking?
Locust does not have a dedication parking area. Many of the surrounding streets offer free parking, and there are a number of paid lots in our neighborhood, 12South. Note that 12South is currently under development and experiencing an increase in construction. Please make accommodations to allow extra time to find parking prior to your reservation time.

Do you host private events?
If you have interest in hosting a private event at Locust, please reach out to us at info@locustnashville.com.

Do you have a corkage fee?
Yes, you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy for a charge of $40 per bottle. We are not able to open or serve liquor brought in by guests.

Can I call the restaurant?
We don’t have a phone! Please send us an email at info@locustnashville.com. For existing reservations, you can reply to the SevenRooms confirmation email or text you receive. We will respond ASAP!
